Why it’s different

The Distillery Edition, here in the 2023 version, is a blend of the most representative marks of the unique style of rums from Hampden Estate, a historic Jamaican distillery active since 1753. A unique rum is produced here, characterised by spring water, prolonged fermentation with wild yeasts, distillation in copper double retort pot stills, tropical ageing in ex-bourbon barrels and no added sugar or additives. Located in the Trelawny province, in the grand cru of Jamaican rum, and managed since 2009 by the Hussey family, Hampden Estate is known for having the best land parcels in the country, with one of the highest yields per hectare.
