Rutte Cleery Gin
Rutte Celery Gin
Overview
History
Rutte Celery Gin is produced in Dordrecht near Rotterdam in the historic distillery where natural ingredients have been distilled since 1732 and gin since 1930. Celery is not a new flavour for Rutte. in fact, it can be found in a number of historical documents of the distillery dating back to the time of its opening where we read about the use of celery together with other unusual botanicals in distillation experiments.
Production method
Rutte Celery Gin is a classic distilled gin made from botanicals infused separately and then redistilled. Celery Gin combines classic botanicals such as juniper, coriander, angelica, orange peel and cardamom. Only the fresh leaves of celery are added for a burst of very fresh and herbal but not dominant notes.
