Why it’s different

Hampden Estate HLCF Classic is produced exclusively from the HLCF mark, which stands for Hampden Light Continental Flavoured and includes rums with a high ester concentration, i.e. 400 to 600 g/hlpa. Hampden Estate has been operating since 1753 in Trelawny Parish, known as the grand cru of Jamaican rum, and has been ageing its Pure Single Rums since 2009. As with all its bottlings, this 100% pot still release has been produced using unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century. Congeners content of 3606.9 g/hlpa, of which esters 476.9 g/hlpa.
