Compass Box Canvas è un blended malt in edizione limitata, composto da una metà circa di Tomatin whisky, con un secondo passaggio in botti di Vino Naranja – vino spagnolo infuso con bucce d’arancia - per tre anni, e acquisendo così una ricchezza di cioccolato e un persistente aroma di marmellata d’arancia. Gli altri single malt provengono da Glenburgie, Glen Elgin e Imperial distilleries, e sono stati tutti invecchiati in rovere americano per esaltare la loro dolcezza fruttata.

Compass Box founder, American John Glaser, is a rebel in the world of whisky.

With a background in Diageo, John decides to found Compass Box in 2000, a company that would return to producing quality blended whiskies after a long time.

John's approach is to produce completely different whiskies, which also represent a criticism of the whisky market dominated by low-level blended: creativity, restricted aging rules, little importance of the years of maturation and no filtration to cold are the cornerstones of this selector who amazes and attracts fans and critics.
