Why it’s different

Vellichor is a neologism that describes the strange melancholy of used book stores. For this new project, Compass Box has combined a series of complex and mature whiskeys and aged blends: a part of Highland Park from 8 toasted hogshead casks; a part of Caol Ila from a hogshead refill barrel; a part of Macallan from two ex-bourbon first fill casks; one part of blended Scotch from one ex-Sherry refill barrel and one part of blended Malt from two ex-Sherry refill barrels.

A limited edition of very few bottles, rich in notes of malt, tropical fruit and Sherry, with a delicate but persistent peat.

How do I drink it?

È perfetto servito liscio, in un bicchiere da vino rosso: il modo migliore per apprezzare le note fruttate e tostate.
