Why it’s different

Compass Box Art & Decadence is a limited edition inspired by the decadent movement of the 19th century: an era of abundance and pleasures, between Oscar Wilde and Aubrey Beardsely, beauty and peacocks. This blend is produced from malt whisky from the Balmenach distillery, which has been matured separately for almost a year in three different wine casks: Madeira, Sauternes and Marsala. The other components of the blend are a whisky from Linkwood aged in ex-Sherry Palo Cortado casks, a Glen Moray whisky aged in ex-Sherry Oloroso casks and a grain whisky from Port Dundas, which is no longer in business.

How do I drink it?

It goes perfectly with desserts and cheeses at the end of a meal.
