Why it’s different
With the 2024 edition, the Kentucky distillery celebrates ten years of Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon, a completely innovative interpretation of the Bourbon Whiskey style: here, the classic Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is transferred for a second ageing in barrels assembled with wood dried in the open air for 18 months and then toasted but not charred.
The result of this double maturation is a whisky of exceptional depth, which releases hints of custard, pecans, cinnamon and oak on the nose.
