Why it’s different
Michter's considers 17-20 years to be the turning point: when certain whisky casks reach this stage of ageing, they can rise to an extraordinary level of quality. It is these particular casks, aged in first-fill American oak barrels, that Master Distiller Dan McKee personally selects for the annual bottling of 20-year-old Bourbon, here in the 2025 release.
