Why it’s different

Savanna Traditionnel Absolu No. 2 2024 represents a milestone in the distillery's "Absolu" series: an edition created to explore the excellence of traditional Réunion rums, combined with bold influences and selected refinements.

This reference is a blend of some of the oldest distillates, matured in ex-Cognac and ex-Muscatel casks, to which a special co-distillate called "HERR" (High Ester Rum) is added, giving it punch, complexity and vibrant aromatic expression.

The blend is the result of the expertise of master blender Thierry Grondin, who selected casks aged between 14 and 16 years for the traditional components, combined with an approximately 8-year-old HERR distillate, all rigorously refined to express a deep and structured aromatic profile.
