Why it’s different

Savanna Traditionnel by Repy is a special edition from the distillery, created to combine two very different but equally distinctive art forms: visual art and distillation.

This edition is the result of a collaboration with artist Repy, known for his works depicting life on La Réunion. The bottle becomes a canvas, while the distillate embodies the same expressive power as the colours: a blend made with two components distilled in 2019, one from rhum agricole and the other according to the Grand Arôme tradition, obtained from molasses with a high concentration of esters.

The two souls of rum were blended and left to age for four years in French oak ex-Cognac barrels. The result is an intense and complex cuvée, bottled at full strength, in a limited edition.
