Why it’s different

The Caroni Trinidad 2000 The Paradise No. 11 - Cask 4059 - continues Caroni's The Paradise series, whose origins date back to the legendary Caroni Ceremony on 12 April 2019. During this event, 26 rum experts - including Luca Gargano - selected the 23 best from the 136 casks remaining from Caroni's last available stock. From this selection, Caroni The Last, Caroni Tasting Gang and Caroni Employees were born, and then special casks were selected to be bottled as Single Cask: The Paradise series.

The three new bottlings are extraordinary limited editions:

Caroni Paradise cask #11 is #4059: Full Proof Heavy Trinidad Rum from 2000, from the stock that after distillation remained in Trinidad until 2019. Only 188 bottles were produced.

Each label is marked at the top right with the demijohn number from which it comes.

The bottles are blown by glass artist Massimo Lunardon, with labels that echo the strongly Caribbean-inspired works of Che Lovelace, a Trinidadian artist and lecturer at the creative arts campus of the University of the West Indies.
