This exceptional rum fully represents the brand's heritage and its innovative new technique of exclusive Intense Aromatic Toasting, which uses prestigious, carefully hand-selected ex-Sherry American oak casks to create a unique rum. The barrels are first filled with rum, then emptied and carefully toasted; during this process, the natural sugars contained in the wood staves are extracted from the barrel, creating delicate pearls of caramel, which are absorbed by the rum once it is returned to the barrels. With this release, the fifth-generation Maestros Roneros take us on a discovery of a masterpiece that encapsulates Brugal's relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation.
