Why it’s different

Now available is the 2024 edition of Chichibu On The Way Floor Malted, now in its fourth release and as always a limited edition, produced to celebrate Chichibu's 16th anniversary. This is a blend aged in ex-bourbon, ex-wine and Chibidaru casks, in which the barley aromas are enhanced by the traditional process of floor malting, whereby the wet barley is spread out on concrete floors for 4/5 days, constantly turned by hand before malting.
