This single malt comes from Balvenie's Rare Marriages series: aged for 25 years exclusively in European and American oak barrels and then combined in a single barrel, it is a fruity and elegant whisky with great character.

Curiosity

Every step of The Balvenie's production is carefully supervised by one of Scotland's foremost Malt Masters, David C. Stewart MBE, who has devoted 54 years of his life to assembling the distillery's finest barrels.

Only David, Scottish born in 1945 in Ayr, will decide which of the barrels can be bottled after a minimum aging of 12 years.
