Why it’s different
Sazerac Rye embodies the tradition and history of New Orleans, in its 19th century of saloons and coffee houses. It was at the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street that Rye Whiskey and Peychaud's Bitters began to be served: a drink known since then as 'Sazerac', the first American branded cocktail. This is the whiskey that started it all: with a rich, spicy and robust flavour profile typical of rye, aged in virgin American oak barrels.
