Why it’s different
A great aged agricultural rum, produced from the pure juice of organically grown sugar cane. Vieux Bio was distilled in November 2016 and bottled after three years of maturation.
Heir to the family that founded the Neisson distillery in 1932, Grégory Vernant began the transition to organic in 2013, producing the first fully organic AOC Martinique rum in 2016. Today, native yeast strains are also used, selected from those naturally present on sugar cane.
