Why it’s different
Seven new releases, all linked by a single theme: Unsun Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game from the Edo period that inspires the series through which La Maison & Velier carries on the legacy of Nine Leaves. Five of Kotsu is one such release: a Small Batch produced from casks that previously held white wine, featuring rum distilled in 2017 and matured for nine years. Bottled at 55°. The distillery closed at the end of 2023, and the stocks were acquired a few months later.
