Why it’s different

Habitation Velier is pushing the boundaries of research into new frontiers, reaching as far as the foothills of the Himalayas. With Himmaleh Himalayan Pure Single Rum, a genuine world first has come to life: a project that explores a terroir entirely new to the world of Pure Single Rums.

Produced by the Himmaleh Spirits distillery using exclusively Indian sugarcane, this spirit was created with the specific aim of reflecting the very essence of the local fields. This particular expression, named Neoli, is the result of a skilful blend of four different varieties of sugarcane, carefully selected to provide a faithful representation of the Himalayan ecosystem.

In keeping with the principles of Habitation Velier, distillation takes place entirely in pot stills. The result is a spirit of exceptional aromatic density, as evidenced by a total congeners content of 318.1 g/hlpa (of which 35.4 g/hlpa are esters). To be bottled in 2025 at a high alcohol content.
