Why it’s different

This 10-year-old Clarendon is part of the second edition of the legendary Magnum series, born in 2021 from an idea of Luca Gargano, with the aim of bringing together the great masters of rum with the great photographers of the Magnum agency.

Like the first, the second edition of the series aims to offer a range of expressions of rum, which originate from the same raw material but are totally different.

This rum is part of the MBS mark of the Clarendon distillery, with an ester content of between 10 and 60 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol. Founded in 1780, the distillery is part of National Rums of Jamaica.

While the first edition of the series was accompanied by Elliott Erwitt's iconic label images, the second pays tribute to American photographer Alex Webb, who has been with the agency since 1979. The Magnum Clarendon 10 years is accompanied by a label photograph of him, taken in Trinidad in 2005.
