After the 1984, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2002 and 2003 vintages, it's time for the 1998 release: an extraordinary blend of 19 barrels - #417649 and #422371 to #422388, chosen from the Jamaican distillery's nearly two hundred thousand - distilled in Forsyth's still and bottled at 63° after 25 years of aging in a tropical climate.
The total content of congeners is 995 gr/hlpa.
Only 492 bottles are available for Italy.

This is a world first that has been a cult favorite among collectors worldwide since the first releases in 2020: the rums that make up this exclusive series are the first single mark rums, 100% pot still and vintage, that Appleton Estate has ever released. The 100% pot still distillation, cutting off the heads and tails, allows only the heart of the distillate to remain.
