Why it’s different

Amara Vergine is a special edition of Amara, the Sicilian amaro made from the peel of Sicilian Red Oranges (PGI).

For this release, new casks made from different types of wood have been selected, chosen to accompany the amaro during ageing and gradually enrich its profile. Each type of wood contributes in a different way, adding structure, depth and balance.

Amara Vergine is therefore the result of a blend of different wood-ageing processes, brought together in a single expression that offers a fresh take on Amara’s original recipe. This edition is dedicated to the people who work every day at the distillery and who safeguard and pass on the recipe, preserving the link between the product, the Sicilian region and the artisanal expertise on which it is based.
