Why it’s different

Heering is a liqueur made from Stevens cherries, a small, dark red variety selected from a wild cherry native to Denmark. The cherries are pressed and both juice and pulp are transferred into wooden vats where they meet the alcohol. From this moment on, the mixture is kept on the move for several months to achieve maximum extraction of cherry aroma. Once the blend of cherry alcohol, secret botanicals and sugar is complete, Heering Cherry Liqueur must rest for at least 3 to 5 years before being bottled.
