Why it’s different

Genepy is one of Bordiga Distillery's best-known liqueurs. It is the traditional liqueur of the Western Alps made from the infusion of the flowers of Artemisia Mutellina, which grows on the highest rocky slopes of the Maritime and Cottian Alps and is harvested here strictly by hand by mountain people. Bordiga isin fact a very special distillery, specializing in rigor and respect for tradition. Its strong point is the alpine medicinal herbs that are still hand-picked and dried at high altitudes by mountain people in an unspoiled environment. This means that the botanicals used are wild. They are harvested without the aid of engines, without pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides and above all with enormous attention to the quality of the products while respecting the environment. Each production, just as in the old days, is totally conditioned by the succession of seasons and variations in climate. Once harvested, the herbs are meticulously checked by Master Distillers who deliver only the best ones for processing.

How do I drink it?

It is suitable for consumption on many occasions: excellent after a meal as a digestive, excellent served as a thirst quencher with the addition of ice, and still pleasantly invigorating when drunk warm with an orange peel.
