Paloma
Paloma has an uncertain history and many urban legends about its origin. The cocktail that is becoming the most popular in Mexico, on the other hand, undoubtedly has its place of birth: Mexico, state of Jalisco, Tequila.
Here is what you need to prepare this cocktail
- Tequila
- Grapefruit soda
- Lime
- Ice
Fill the glass with ice. Add 5 cl of tequila. I chose Rooster Rojo Blanco, a classic tequila, initially sweet but soon followed by light herbaceous and peppery notes.
Top it off with about 10 cl of Fever-Tree Pink Grapefruit, the new grapefruit soda made with real, hand-picked pink grapefruit juice from Florida. If ¾ of your drink is the mixer, make sure you use the best!
Add 1½ cl of lime juice, equal to half a lime. Garnish with a lime wedge.
The Paloma is ready!
