Gin & Tonic

Gin & Tonic originated in the British colonial period when British soldiers in India consumed Indian Tonic. Tonic water contains quinine, a very bitter substance effective against malaria. To make the drink more pleasant, the soldiers began adding gin.
Here's what you need for this cocktail:
- Gin
- Tonic water
- Lemon
- Ice
We start the cocktail by chilling the glass with ice. You can also keep it in the fridge.
Add 5 cl of gin. We chose Hendrick's Gin for its hints of cucumber and rose.
Top up with about 15 cl Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water, the perfect tonic for any gin. The essence of Tanzanian orange perfectly balances the bitter note of quinine. If ¾ of your drink is the mixer, make sure you use the best!
Garnish with a slice of lemon.
