Clairin Vaval 8 Récolte 2020
Why it’s different
Clairin Vaval is produced in the south-east of Haiti, in Cavaillon. Here, Fritz Vaval runs the Arrawaks distillery, which has been owned by his family since 1947 and consists of 20 hectares of land. The cane variety used is Madame Meuze, which is grown in a completely natural way. Clairin Vaval is produced from pure cane juice, fermented naturally with wild yeasts and distilled in a distinctly homemade still. This eighth version comes from the 2020 récolte.
