Why it’s different
The seventh cuvée in the Le Rendez-Vous range is a 2018 vintage that highlights the Meunier grape variety originating in the terroir of Venteuil, on the right bank of the Marne. The sunny exposure and the predominantly clayey soil give it a beautiful maturity, enhanced by ageing on the lees for a good 63 months. The result is a delicate and balanced champagne with a floral nose and mouth-watering flavours of cherry in syrup, fresh pear and pomegranate, and a vibrant finish with saline accents.
