Why it’s different
Waterford Biodynamic Luna 1.1 is the first single malt Irish whisky produced exclusively from local biodynamic barley and following lunar cycles. Trevor Harris, John McDonnell and Alan Mooney are the three biodynamic barley producers involved in this project. This whisky is matured in a combination of casks: 35% American first fill oak; 17% American virgin oak; 26% French premium oak; 22% Vin Doux Naturel oak.
