Why it’s different

This Kentucky Bourbon pays tribute to the early days of Heaven Hill, which launched its first Bottled-in-Bond whisky in 1939. Aged for seven years, it exceeds the requirements for Bottled-in-Bond by three years, giving it greater complexity, character and balance.

The other requirements, established by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, are: to be distilled entirely in the same distillery; to be composed of the same spirits; come from a single distillation season (January/June or July/December); be bottled at exactly 100 proof, after reduction in pure water only; have the name and number of the Distilled Spirit Plant where it was produced on the label.
