Why it’s different

The Peat Monster Cask Strength is the new edition of this highly successful blended Malt; a limited edition, it was produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Compass Box.

Focus

It is a blend composed as follows: 35 percent from a Williamson Islay Malt aged in American oak refill hogshead barrels; 34.2 percent from a Caol Ila whiskey aged in American oak hogshead barrels; 17.9 percent from American oak ex-bourbon barrels; 11.8 percent from refill puncheons; and 1.1 percent from a Highland Malt Blend aged in toasted French oak barrels.

An explosion of smoke, cinnamon and tobacco.

The label was designed by American artist Mark Burckhardt.
