Why it’s different
Black lemon is a spice with a smoky, spicy flavour, widely used in Middle Eastern cuisine. Contrary to what its name suggests, it is not actually black lemon, but dried lime – the name comes from an old, inaccurate translation from Arabic into English.
This Bitter does not contain actual Black Lemon, but its fresh profile, rich in intense notes of lemon, flowers and spices, faithfully recalls its aromatic character.
Scrappy's emphasises the selection of the finest organic ingredients for its products, without the use of oils or extracts, as well as artificial flavours, chemicals or colourings. Each batch is handcrafted and subjected to rigorous quality standards, in order to offer more intense and authentic flavours.
