Why it’s different
Evan Williams Single Barrel is the first and only vintage Single Barrel bourbon, named 'Whiskey of the Year' five times: a true premium bourbon, handcrafted and selected by Master Distillers. Each bottle bears the barrel number along with the bottling date.
The Evan Williams brand is named after the distiller who opened Kentucky's first commercial distillery on the banks of the Ohio River in 1783.
It is part of Heaven Hill Distilleries, the largest independent family-owned bourbon distillery. Founded in 1934, it now has more than 900 000 barrels in ageing under the leadership of Master Distiller Craig Beam, a descendant of 'Jim' Beam.
