Why it’s different
Elijah Craig Small Batch consists of two releases distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky from a traditional Bourbon mashbill. The result is of great aromatic richness.
The Elijah Craig brand pays homage with its name to the reverend of the same name who is considered the father of bourbon: it was he, in 1789, who was the first distiller to age his whiskey in charred oak barrels.
It is part of Heaven Hill Distilleries, the largest independent family-owned bourbon distillery. Founded in 1934, it now has more than 900 000 barrels in ageing under the leadership of Master Distiller Craig Beam, a descendant of 'Jim' Beam.
