Why it’s different

Amaro Camatti is a historic Genoese speciality, created in 1924 in Recco by Umberto Briganti. Its original recipe, today guarded by the Bergamino family, remains partly secret in accordance with tradition. The production process has remained as artisanal as possible: after careful selection of the raw materials - among which almond, cinchona, peppermint, gentian and bitter orange stand out - the process of infusion and maceration is carried out, designed according to the characteristics of each herb and vegetable. The resulting infusion is left to decant in stainless steel barrels or casks and then filtered to remove any impurities. In 2023, the bitter was awarded the prestigious title of World's Best Bitter by the jury of the World Liqueur Awards.

How do I drink it?
